Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is hiring a Residential Territory Manager for hard surface flooring to cover Central Indiana, including Indianapolis and Carmel. You will drive sales with dealers, designers, and end-users, manage samples and displays, and build relationships to grow market share.

The role requires travel within the market, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule that may include evenings. Experience with Salesforce is required; a laptop and MS Office familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must reside in the market.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards (van or approved SUV).
• Ability to lift samples up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evenings.
• Proven experience using a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks and travel to new accounts as needed.
• Prospect for viable new accounts while understanding the local market.
• Prepare sales reports and communicate goals, market conditions and product needs.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com and maintain accurate records.
