Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to oversee sales in the State College, Williamsport, and Altoona, PA markets.

You will cultivate relationships with flooring dealers, designers, and end-users to grow Shaw’s profitability and market share in your territory. You will travel to customer sites, present Shaw’s product lines, and implement major market programs while maintaining a focus on service, integrity, and knowledge-driven sales.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience.
• Ability to travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding the territory landscape.
• Prepare reports of business transactions, sales volume and potential sales.
• Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals, competitive market conditions and product needs.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Sell and promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial products and educate customers.
