Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Territory Manager to oversee an assigned service territory, drive sales growth, and maintain strong customer relationships. The role emphasizes safety, coaching, and leadership of Route Sales Representatives, with substantial travel to visit customers and ensure service goals are met.

You will report to the Service Manager or Sr. Territory Manager, and may be assigned to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven customer service and negotiation abilities.
• Experience interfacing with multiple organizational functions.
• Proficiency with MS Office software.
• Exposure to sales function preferred.
• Management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sustain a safety culture.
• Coach and develop Route Sales Representatives in your territory.
• Report to Service Manager or Sr. Territory Manager; or General Manager.
• Foster team selling via TIG and Shared Lead programs.
• Assist in new account installations as directed.
• Manage day-to-day customer service programs in the territory.
• Visit customers quarterly to review growth and opportunities.
• Ensure RSRs respond to service requests promptly.
• Set clear expectations and lead by example.
• Travel ~60% with service professionals to observe and visit locations.
• Follow up on accounts in jeopardy and resolve issues quickly.
• Negotiate renewals to protect pricing and profitability.
• Recruit, hire, and train Route Sales employees.
• Hold weekly in-person meetings with RSRs to review performance.
• Provide training to drive retention and service goals.
