Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to service the Asheville, NC area and surrounding markets.

The role focuses on growing Shaw’s profitability and market share by building strong relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users, while executing major programs and managing sample placement. You will lead product promotions for Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex and Philadelphia Commercial, with a strong emphasis on service, integrity, and

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle capable of carrying product samples (van/SUV).
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings.
• Proven experience using a laptop and MS Windows software including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Make daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding local market dynamics.
• Prepare and present reports of transactions, sales volume and potential.
• Communicate periodic sales reports detailing actual sales, goals, and market conditions.
• Analyze sales statistics using territory data to aid goal setting and dealer promotions.
• Monitor travel and entertainment expenses and sample budgets to meet budgets.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential Shaw products and educate customers on Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
