Shaw Industries seeks a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to grow Shaw’s profitability and market share in Asheville, NC and surrounding areas. The role relies on building strong dealer relationships through knowledge, service and integrity, with growth driven by major market programs and well-placed samples.

The candidate will cover the Ashville market, regularly visit dealers, designers and end-users, and promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex and Philadelphia Commercial while meeting

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED plus 1 year of sales experience.
• Ability to travel in a vehicle capable of carrying product sample boards.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Proficient with a laptop and MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers focused on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding the territory.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales volumes.
• Communicate periodic sales reports including goals and market conditions.
• Analyze sales statistics using computer reports to help dealers.
• Manage travel and sample budgets within company limits.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
