Job summary

Pet Food Experts in San Francisco region seeks a Territory Sales Manager to maximize sales across Santa Maria to Bakersfield north through San Francisco and Stockton. This role requires daily travel within the territory and residency within the area.

The candidate will build retailer strategies, develop business plans for high-value accounts, and collaborate with partners to grow market share, with occasional weekend commitments during peak times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Sales and/or B2B Sales experience.
• Must reside within the sales territory.
• Ability to travel daily within the territory, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and understand brand/products, market conditions and retailer strategies to maximize selling efforts.
• Achieve territory sales objectives through vendor development and retailer programs.
• Develop business plans for high-value retailers using data to identify growth opportunities.
• Execute 60-day priorities to optimize selling time and sales growth.
• Build relationships with key retailers, vendor partners, and community thought leaders.
• Collaborate with RSM, peers, and vendors to grow retailer relationships and sales.
