Job summary

Pet Food Experts is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to maximize sales across our California territory, including Santa Maria, Bakersfield, and the SF/Stockton corridors. This role requires daily travel to visit customers within the territory.

You will develop retailer strategies, build strong relationships with vendors, and align with brand initiatives to drive growth. A BA/BS is preferred and at least 3 years of B2B sales experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, BA/BS in business or life sciences.
• Minimum 3 years of Sales and/or B2B experience.
• Must reside within the sales territory.
• Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours.
• Clean driving record, MVR verified.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Pet Food Experts’ brands, products, market conditions, and retailer strategies to maximize selling.
• Achieve territory sales objectives through Vendor Development and retailer programs.
• Develop and implement business plans for high-value Retailers using data to identify growth opportunities.
• Execute Vendor Development’s 60-day priorities to optimize selling time and growth.
• Build strong relationships with key Retailers, Vendor Partners, and community thought leaders to gain market share.
• Collaborate with RSM and peers to grow retailer relationships and sales growth.
