Job summary

Factory Motor Parts Co. is seeking an outside sales professional to manage and grow our customer accounts in Omaha and surrounding areas. You will develop profitable relationships, prospect new clients, and drive sales growth through strategic presentations and effective closing techniques.

Responsibilities include forecasting, planning with management, collaborating with Marketing, and training clients on new parts and products. Travel to customer sites is required to maintain a strong base.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with formal presentation abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and close sales.
• Willingness to travel to adequately manage customer base.

Responsibilities

• Grow current customer sales through a variety of sales activities.
• Develop new customers by prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing profitable sales.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales with existing and new customers.
• Monitor customer sales activities and create action plans to meet needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to grow profitable sales.
• Participate in budgeting by forecasting sales and planning.
• Communicate with management on sales activities, forecasts, and challenges.
• Develop and nurture strong customer relationships.
• Introduce and conduct training with clients on new parts or products.
• Utilize Sales Point to maximize sales and revenues at a customer level.
