Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services within the Freeport, Winnebago, and Rockford, IL territory. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts and drive profitable sales growth.

This role may require some non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to meet customer needs. You will travel to client accounts, present solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field.
• OR HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Completion of the Sysco Sales Internship is considered equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to drive profitable growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product mixes.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive a personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues.
• Prepare sales budgets and maintain records.
• Attend district meetings and participate in trainings.
