Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative in the Baltimore, MD area to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and deliver innovative solutions to customers. You will manage the assigned territory, pursue new customers, and strengthen existing relationships to drive sales and growth.

The role includes training customers, conducting business reviews, and balancing new customer acquisition with ongoing relationship management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or culinary certificate preferred.
• At least 1 year of sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and relationship management for assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers and deepen existing relationships.
• Manage territory with balanced new and existing client visits.
• Provide product training and identify value-add opportunities for customers.
• Coordinate visits and communicate order status to customers.
