Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring an Outside Food Sales Representative to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and manage a sales territory in the Concord, NC area. You will engage prospective customers, deepen existing relationships, and present value-driven solutions to help customers achieve their goals.

The role includes training customers on product offerings, conducting regular account reviews, and coordinating visits to optimize territory coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record; ability to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships and develop new business within assigned territory.
• Visit customers weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to review needs and opportunities.
• Perform territory management, coordinate visits with prospects and existing customers.
• Provide training on Gordon Food Service products to customers.
• Communicate order status and updates to customers.
