Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to cultivate relationships and drive new business in the North Conway, NH area. You will manage the sales territory, present solutions, and support customer needs with company products and services.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, market research, and ongoing training to help restaurants succeed while achieving personal and company revenue goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new customers and manage the territory.
• Research industry and market trends impacting restaurants within the territory.
• Identify and research prospective customers within the territory.
• Develop sales strategies highlighting Gordon Food Service products and solutions.
• Deepen and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Visit all customers in the assigned territory on a regular basis.
• Conduct business reviews to identify needs and opportunities for growth.
• Provide ongoing product training to customers on offerings.
• Coordinate visits with prospective and existing customers.
• Communicate order status and updates to customers.
