Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is a premier food service distributor seeking a Sales Associate to serve as the face of the company. You will generate sales by developing new opportunities and expanding existing accounts while delivering outstanding customer service across your territory.

You will travel to visit customers, present products with samples or catalogs, quote prices, and help manage orders, payments, and account records.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in restaurant sales, food sales, or professional catering sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Grow Revenue by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
• Build Customer Portfolio by compiling lists of prospective customers from networking, directories, trade shows, and online sources.
• Travel within assigned territory to call on customers and secure orders.
• Present products using samples or catalogs to highlight features and benefits.
• Quote prices and terms to prepare contracts for orders.
• Provide delivery dates and manage payments and receivables.
• Maintain detailed records in internal systems and coordinate with inside sales.
