Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative in Fairfax County, VA. You will manage the sales and relationships for existing and prospective customers within your territory, pursuing new business and delivering innovative solutions.

The role involves servant leadership, training, and onboarding through the first 90 days with systems, product knowledge, and the sales process. Regular customer visits and comprehensive territory planning are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and relationship efforts for existing and prospective customers in the assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers by researching market trends and identifying prospects.
• Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships through visits and business reviews.
• Balance new customer acquisition with sales territory management and updates.
