Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to manage sales and relationships within an assigned territory, pursuing new customers and strengthening current accounts.

You will visit customers regularly, develop strategies to showcase products and services, and drive growth through territory management and ongoing training. A background in sales or food service and a valid driver’s license are required; some roles offer bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall sales and relationship management within the assigned territory, including pursuing new customers and strengthening existing relationships.
• Developing sales strategies to highlight Gordon Food Service offerings and presenting the strategy to prospective customers.
• Visiting customers regularly (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) to assess needs and opportunities for growth.
• Managing sales territory and coordinating visits to prospective and existing customers.
