Job summary

Acosta, Inc. seeks a Field Sales Associate to close sales through face-to-face interactions within assigned Chicago-area territories.

You will educate in-store personnel with product demonstrations, build strong relationships with staff and client vendors, and expand brand presence through effective merchandising and planogram compliance. The role requires strong communication skills, independence, and a proactive approach to solving sales barriers, with regular reporting and training

Responsibilities

• Close sales through face-to-face interaction within assigned territories.
• Educate in-store personnel through demonstrations and training.
• Build and maintain relationships with in-store personnel and client vendors/partners.
• Expand brand presence through merchandising and planogram compliance.
• Identify and resolve sales barriers at store level and report issues through proper channels.
• Gather competitive intelligence on tactics, promotions, and new products.
• Complete call reports and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
