Job summary

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company, is seeking a Field Sales Professional in the West Cleveland/Lorain County, OH area. This hybrid role blends home-office work with school, community, and event environments to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities.

The position offers a base draw of $50,000-$60,000 annually plus performance-based incentives, with hours that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports-related background.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience but a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class, consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory and do everything possible to make their lives easier.
• Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
• Actively develop and qualify leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
• Resilience to handle rejection and the persistence to turn challenges into opportunities.
• Navigate multiple functions within the company’s CRM, including prospecting, account management, and activity tracking, to support sales and customer relationship efforts.
• Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
• Utilize data-driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
• Manage your account list and travel on location within your assigned territory.
