Job summary

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company, is seeking a Field Sales Professional to partner with schools, clubs, and community programs within the assigned territory. The role drives full-cycle sales from prospecting to post-sale service and requires in-person engagement to build lasting relationships with coaches and program leaders.

This hybrid position offers base compensation in the $55k–$65k range with potential performance-based incentives and travel 2–5 days per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) OR coaching background.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class, consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory.
• Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
• Actively develop and qualify leads within territory via cold-calling and lead campaigns.
• Demonstrate resilience to handle rejection and turn challenges into opportunities.
• Navigate CRM to support sales and customer relationships (prospecting, account management, tracking).
• Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
• Use data-driven insights to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage your account list and travel within your territory.
