Job summary

Fairbanks Scales is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive for the Seattle area. You will identify and contact new customers, grow the current base, and develop a strong pipeline through meetings and compelling proposals.

Travel will be required to engage with decision-makers and understand diverse business needs. You will maintain knowledge of the product catalog, coordinate with internal teams, and contribute to strategic plans to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• This position requires an associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years outside sales.
• 4+ years selling industrial or capital equipment preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Grow top-line revenue within assigned geography by identifying, prospecting and establishing contact with potential customers daily.
• Maintain and develop existing customer base through trusted relationship management and identify opportunities for replacements or upgrades.
• Travel to and from customer sites to meet decision-makers and learn their business needs.
• Assess customer business issues to identify products and services to meet needs and overcome objections.
• Create and present persuasive sales proposals and quotes to sell products and develop repeat business.
