Job summary

National Gypsum Company is seeking a Southwest area Field Sales Representative to serve as the primary contact for existing and potential customers in Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas. You will promote NGC products and systems, deliver best-in-class service, and help maintain our leadership position in this territory through technical knowledge and responsive support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years field sales experience in building materials preferred.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote NGC products to exceed sales objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, contractors, builders, architects.
• Develop territory sales plans based on market conditions.
• Coordinate with sales management, demand management, marketing, and manufacturing.
• Identify and track relevant job leads and product specification opportunities.
• Investigate and remedy customer service issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Organize and manage activities independently or in a team.
• Seek professional certifications and technical knowledge.
• Create a strong value proposition related to technical acumen and market knowledge.
• Manage and stay within assigned budget.
