Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking a Field Sales Executive to grow sales of bespoke packaging solutions across the designated territory. This direct sales role focuses on new business acquisition, meeting customers face to face, and developing existing accounts in sectors like Aerospace, Defence, Electronics and Medical Equipment.

You will build a robust sales pipeline with 3 week to 6 month cycles and target territory growth, using consultative solutions and strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a similar territory/field-based sales role.
• Proven ability to target, acquire and win orders from new customers.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
• Background selling technical solutions to engineers and buyers.
• Self-motivated with resilience and drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Create territory growth in line with targets.
• Convert enquiries and build relationships through external meetings.
• Use consultative selling to analyse and solve customer problems.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders.
