Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging in Cricklade is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to own a defined M5 Corridor territory, balancing account management with new business development. You will manage an £400k turnover base with potential to double turnover in two years.

The role requires a field-based sales background, a UK driving licence, and willingness to travel; you will spend 2–3 days weekly at the Cricklade site for planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in field-based B2B sales.
• Proven track record of winning new business and nurturing existing accounts.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
• Located close to the M5 Corridor, ideally Bristol to Worcester.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver a structured business plan for your territory.
• Plan and prioritise sales activity to meet growth targets.
• Develop existing accounts and win new customers to maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Identify, target and convert new business opportunities.
• Build lasting customer relationships through service and product knowledge.
• Tailor packaging solutions to customer needs with a consultative approach.
