Abbott Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics (RMDx) is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Manager to drive new business in the Chicago/NW Indiana region. You will identify untapped accounts in hospital networks and clinics, opening doors and converting opportunities with tailored diagnostic solutions.

This role focuses on new business development, requiring strategic selling, CRM/BI proficiency, and the ability to build relationships from scratch. Travel up to ~50% is expected to cover the territory.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years proven sales experience.
• Track record converting leads to close.
• Willing to travel up to 50% (4 days/week).

Aufgaben

• Drive new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and converting zero-billing and competitive accounts within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans, leveraging market intelligence, customer insights, and data analytics to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through contract negotiation, closing, and successful account transition.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, account plans, and revenue forecasts using CRM and BI tools to achieve growth objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, Contracts, and Technical Services, to deliver customer-focused solutions and resolve sales challenges.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, administrators, distributors, and key decision-makers while communicating Abbott's value proposition and ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
