Job summary

Yamazen Inc. is seeking a Junior Sales Engineer to prospect and engage customers in Rockford, IL. The role focuses on developing new business within an exclusive territory while retaining and expanding existing accounts.

You will build strong client relationships and drive sales with product solutions, taking ownership of the full sales cycle. Base salary ranges from $48,000 to $60,000 per year, with commissions, a business allowance, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Prior outside sales experience in machinery is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop and close new business within assigned territory.
• Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
• Travel for consultations to determine needs and prepare estimates.
• Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demos and related customer projects.
• Possess deep knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines.
• Utilize CRM for all prospecting and customer activities.
