Encompass Health is seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaison to cultivate referral relationships within a Houston-area territory and coordinate patient assessments. This role blends clinical licensure with community engagement to drive growth through patient referrals and streamlined admission processes.

The position emphasizes building relationships with physicians, nurses, discharge planners and payer representatives while promoting hospital programs and services.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 2+ years clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred.
• 1+ year in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop business census based on strategic goals within assigned territory.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians, nurses, discharge planners and payers.
• Support referral-to-admission processes and streamline workflows.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Use market analysis to identify new opportunities and growth paths.
• Respond to admission barriers and follow up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to groups about services and outcomes.
