Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Portable Climate Solutions Sales Representative to drive revenue in the assigned territory by building customer relationships and offering our fleet of portable generators, HVAC units and dehumidifiers. This role requires a proactive self-starter who can manage accounts and present effective solutions.

You will plan and execute sales strategies, work with operations to fulfill customer needs, and report activity through CRM.

Qualifications

• Professional sales experience in equipment rental or related climate-control markets preferred.
• Strong listening and communication abilities to understand customer needs.
• Ability to develop territory plans and present solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory daily to acquire new accounts and meet revenue goals.
• Plan sales strategies and cross-sell with existing resources.
• Identify customer needs and coordinate with operations to fulfill them.
• Deliver formal presentations to customer decision-makers about equipment offerings.
• Document sales activity in CRM and report on progress.
