Job summary

Alkermes is seeking a Territory Business Manager to drive sales in the Little Rock/Memphis territory. The role requires proven pharmaceutical sales success, strong product knowledge, and the ability to educate healthcare providers while managing targets and expenses.

Travel up to 80% and proximity to key customers are essential. Base salary ranges $150,000–$185,000 with a $45,000 annual incentive and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS is required.
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience required.
• Must live in the geography and/or within 25 miles of key targeted customers in the geography.
• Driver's license must be in good standing.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand Alkermes products and disease states; educate providers.
• Demonstrate selling skills using approved aids and studies; gain agreement for increased product use.
• Develop and maintain healthcare provider target lists with current data.
• Utilize resources and programs to grow business; discuss territory plans with RBD.
• Develop business plans; perform administrative tasks accurately and timely.
• Exercise fiscal control of operating expenses.
