Job summary

Alkermes is seeking a Territory Business Manager to cover the Quad Cities, IA region, selling products that address sleep disorders. You will rely on product knowledge, disease state understanding, and a disciplined selling approach to educate healthcare providers and drive adoption.

You should bring 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, a BA/BS, and willingness to travel up to 80%. Base salary ranges $150,000–$185,000 with a $45,000 annual incentive target and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS is required.
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• Must live within geography or within 25 miles of key targets.
• Driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to secure healthcare provider credentialing if required.
• Travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of Alkermes products, disease states, and marketplace.
• Show strong selling skills using approved aids and studies; gain agreement for increased product use with providers.
• Demonstrate territory management by targeting healthcare providers with required frequency.
• Utilize resources/programs to grow business; discuss territory plans with RBD as needed.
• Develop business plans and perform administrative tasks timely and accurately.
• Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses.
• Collaborate with colleagues and headquarters staff across related roles.
• Abide by Alkermes promotional compliance policies.
