Job summary

Alkermes is seeking a Territory Business Manager to sell products in the Denver territory and support promotional efforts for sleep-disorder treatments. Ideal candidates are proven sales achievers with solid product, disease state, and market knowledge, and strong targeting skills.

You will educate healthcare providers using approved materials, develop territory plans, and manage expenses while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 80% in the territory is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS is required.
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience required.
• Must live in the geography and/or within 25 miles of key targeted customers in the geography.
• Driver's license must be in good standing.
• Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of Alkermes products and related disease states.
• Use approved sales aids and studies to educate healthcare providers and gain agreement for increased product use.
• Manage territory by identifying and calling on targeted healthcare provider accounts with appropriate frequency.
• Leverage resources and programs to grow the business and discuss territory performance with RBD.
• Develop business plans and perform administrative tasks timely and accurately.
• Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, etc.).
• Collaborate with field reps, NDs, Nurse Care Navigators and headquarters staff.
