Job summary

Viamericas is seeking a Business Development Executive/Outside Sales Representative to cover the assigned territory and maximize revenue from our agent network. You will recruit new agent locations, build relationships with existing agents, and drive growth through proactive account management.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, 2–3 years of outside sales experience, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in outside sales in the industry preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish may be required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment of new agent locations and providing service to existing agent locations within the assigned territory.
• Generate leads, call on prospects, evaluate business position and convert into new business signings.
• Support new agent application process by inputting the prospective client in the application system and following up on the submitted application.
• Must consistently meet or exceed target goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Viamericas Corporation’s services and products.
• Activate, install & provide agent training on how to use our products (systems) adequately so they can have an optimal experience while using it.
• Provide ongoing agent support and maintenance through agency visits.
• Replace damaged equipment to maintain production levels.
• Establish a nexus between client and Company by communicating important information.
• Closely monitor competitors rates.
• Provide feedback to Company about client events and needs.
• Counsel agents on product/service fit for client needs.
• Collaborate with Applications, Accounts Receivables, Compliance, Products and other Sales Representatives.
