Job summary

Viamericas is seeking a Business Development Executive/Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue by recruiting and supporting agents across a territory. You will generate leads, convert prospects to signings, and provide ongoing agent support and training to ensure top performance.

The role requires 2–3 years of outside sales experience, bilingual English/Spanish may be required, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in outside sales in the industry preferred.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish may be required.
• Proven negotiation, sales closing and relationship management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new agent locations and service existing ones within the assigned territory.
• Generate leads, call on prospects, evaluate business position and convert into new business signings.
• Support new agent applications by inputting the prospective client in the application system and follow up on submissions.
• Consistently meet or exceed target goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Viamericas services and products; provide agent training on usage.
• Provide ongoing agent support and maintenance through agency visits.
• Travel up to 80% of the time.
