Job summary

Boston Beer Co. is seeking a full-time Brewery Representative to cover Hudson Valley and surrounding counties, living in Rockland County or nearby.

This field-based role focuses on developing new accounts and expanding product availability through consultative sales, storefront displays, and distributor collaboration. You’ll sell the full BBC portfolio, educate staff, and visit bars, restaurants, and retailers.

Qualifications

1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry.
An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality.
Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously.
Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently.
Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently.
Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

Sell our entire BBC product portfolio to new and existing accounts.
Focus on upgrading product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery, convenience stores).
Identify major accounts not currently selling BBC products and develop a plan to establish business.
Improve conditions and merchandise accounts with displays, resets, and POS items.
Partner with distributors to ensure orders and growth at accounts.
Conduct waitstaff/bartender educations, beer tastings and evening promotions.
Regular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers.
