Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking an outside Sales Representative to cover the New Jersey geography. Focused on acquiring new distributor accounts and expanding existing relationships, you will drive sales of disposable food service products in a B2B setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in sales, a relevant background in packaging or safety items, and be comfortable traveling frequently within North Jersey and Central NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of inside/outside sales experience.
• Experience in food/meat processing, industrial processing, packaging or related distribution sales is preferred.
• Ability to travel daily/weekly including overnights.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through prospecting and building new distributor accounts.
• Manage and expand existing customer relationships with exceptional service.
• Meet or exceed sales and margin KPIs.
• Promote Bunzl products and drive sales of internal house brands and preferred brands.
• Implement pricing strategies within all accounts and plan weekly visits.
• Provide timely sales forecasts to ensure inventory alignment.
