Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking an outside Sales Representative for the R3 organization to meet and exceed sales targets across the Metro New York geography. This field-based role focuses on account management and new business development in a B2B distribution environment.

You will work with distributor customers, promote Bunzl products, manage pricing, and provide timely forecasts. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of sales experience, strong CRM skills, and the ability to travel within the

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 2+ years of inside/outside sales experience.
• Experience with MS Dynamics or another CRM tool.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through prospecting and building business with new local and regional distributor accounts.
• Manage and expand existing customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and driving incremental account growth.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and margin KPIs.
• Promote new products and drive sales of Bunzl internal house brands and preferred brands where appropriate.
• Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts.
• Complete weekly planning and scheduling of customer visits, with a strong understanding of objectives for each visit.
• Develop a strong understanding of Bunzl products, with the ability to demonstrate features and benefits by using product samples and/or catalog specifications.
• Establish and grow new accounts.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecast to the operational and leadership team to ensure inventory levels are accurate.
