Job summary

BigIron is seeking a motivated Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in agriculture through its online auction platform. This full-time role offers base salary plus commission and company tools to enable success.

You will manage a local territory and work with farmers, ranchers, dealers, and ag businesses to market and sell equipment online. Daily travel within the territory and home-based office when not meeting customers are typical.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or territory management experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a scheduled territory.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
• Comfortable in a performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business via visits, referrals, networking, and calls.
• Meet customers on farms, shops, and across territory.
• Evaluate equipment, discuss auction timing, pricing, and selling options.
• Secure consignments for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with marketing, listings, and operations teams to prepare gear for sale.
• Support customers through the auction process and after sale service.
• Grow revenue within the assigned territory.
