Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services. You will manage an assigned local territory, travel within the territory, and work from a home-based office when not meeting with farmers and dealers.

You will develop customer relationships, generate new business, and guide customers through the auction process from start to finish, with base salary, commission, and rewards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or territory management experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory schedule.
• Comfortable in a performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal marketing, listing, and operations teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers throughout the auction process and provide ongoing service after the sale.
• Manage and grow revenue within your assigned territory.
