Job summary

BigIron is seeking an Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture sector through our online auction platform. This field-based role covers a local territory with daily travel and a home-based office when not meeting customers.

Base salary ranges from $50,000 to $75,000, with additional commission opportunities and potential total compensation of $100,000–$150,000+. You will develop relationships with farmers, ranchers, and ag businesses, qualify leads, and guide

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, territory management, or customer-facing business development experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule in a defined territory.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory and drive locally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your assigned territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare equipment for sale and support customers through the auction process.
• Manage and grow revenue within your assigned territory.
