Job summary

Élan Partners is seeking an experienced Petroleum Marketing - Account Manager to oversee Central and North Florida territory from a home office, traveling to customer sites across Orlando, Ocala, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Daytona Beach.

The role requires 5+ years in business development or account management, with 2+ years in retail fuel or dealer networks, P&L responsibility, contract negotiation, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of business development, territory management, account management, or operations experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in retail fuel, petroleum marketing, fuel distribution, or fuel-related dealer/distributor channels.
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility for a territory, region, or business unit.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing business relationships with owners, operators, and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a territory consisting of company-owned, dealer-owned, and distributor-operated locations throughout Central and North Florida.
• Serve as the primary business partner and advisor to customers, operators and business owners.
• Develop and execute site-level business plans focused on increasing EBITDA, cash flow, and organic sales growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand fuel volumes, participation in value-added programs and overall profitability.
• Negotiate and renew contracts while building long-term relationships with owners and executive-level decision makers.
• Maintain responsiveness to customer needs, including occasional after-hours support.
