Job summary

Airgas in Newnan, GA is seeking an Account Manager to drive profitable sales growth within an assigned territory, cultivate relationships with existing and new customers, and manage A/R and to meet corporate objectives.

Base pay plus commission with monthly auto allowance, travel within the territory, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), tuition assistance, and paid holidays. 14-week paid parental leave is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Reliable transportation and driver’s license required.
• 3+ years outside B2B sales preferred; solution-selling experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements sales plans to service existing accounts and establish new ones.
• Nurtures customer relationships by understanding their business and becoming a consultative partner.
• Prepares sales proposals with pricing, terms, and delivery estimates.
• Keeps informed on industry trends, product mixes, and market intelligence.
• Collaborates with internal teams to communicate customer opportunities and successes.
• Maintains sales reports (daily/weekly/monthly) in SAP.
• Reviews Accounts Receivable balances to protect working capital.
