Job summary

Grand Canyon Education is seeking an Account Executive to oversee the Northern VA/Alexandria/Fairfax territory in a military community‑based role. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with potential to reach six figures after five years of service.

Training occurs in Phoenix, AZ, with generous tuition benefits for employees and dependents. You’ll use strong communication and coaching skills to guide prospective students, partner with families and schools, and drive enrollment for online programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; no delinquent federal student loan payments if in rehab, current on payments.
• Outstanding time management skills with ability to juggle priorities and travel.
• Clear communication in person, writing, and on the phone; strong listening skills.
• Self-motivation with ownership of time spent with students.
• High emotional intelligence; ability to coach diverse students.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and flexible schedule for travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM usage a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and execution: identify and implement event plans for your territory, raise awareness of online programs, drive inquiry generation.
• Partner and influencer: counsel prospective students and families via in-person, phone, or email communications; promote student success.
• Heart and Hustle: work independently to support admissions and guide students through the online learning path.
