Job summary

Stratis Group in Oakland/Bakersfield, CA seeks an Access & Reimbursement Manager to lead a designated territory and ensure access for providers and patients. This field-based role requires educating offices on reimbursement processes, payer changes, and patient services, with travel 3–4 days a week.

You will coordinate with HUB, call center and market access teams, handle PHI compliantly, and drive education and issue resolution to improve insurance authorization outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Managed Care, Field Reimbursement, Patient Services or related sales.
• 4-year degree or 8+ years in related healthcare roles.
• Ability to travel 3–4 days a week within the territory.
• Strong analytic capabilities and problem-solving.
• Experience educating offices on patient service programs (copay, nurse education, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities that support patient access in provider offices and act as liaison to HUB/Call Center/ Specialty Pharmacy Services.
• Act as an extension of client’s HUB and provide in-person customer visits.
• Participate in client meetings and input call activity into CRM.
• Serve as payer expert and communicate payer changes to stakeholders.
• Educate offices on formulary coverage and prior authorization processes.
• Educate physician office staff on patient support services and provider portals.
• Review patient case information compliantly as defined by the client.
