Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at Bettendorf Terminal IA to provide high quality products and customer service while maintaining safety. Primary duties include bulk truck loading, hopper barge unloading, and terminal maintenance at the facility.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma/GED and 1-3 years of experience; knowledge of cement, construction systems and SAP/Microsoft Office is a plus. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture within our North America

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of cement, construction industry and integrated computer systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, and yard areas.
• Load/unload material using bulk and bagged methods; manage waterway and road transport as needed.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on mobile equipment and machinery.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
