Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate equipment at the Des Moines Terminal, handling rail, waterway, and truck transfers with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years of experience, with basic computer skills and familiarity with SAP.

You will work in a hands-on environment, maintain facilities, and follow safety procedures while supporting throughput at a busy terminal.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft programs.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates loading/unloading equipment for rail, boat, and truck movements.
• Ensures order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.
• Maintains grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment and assists with mechanical tasks.
• Upholds health, safety and environmental policies across work areas.
