Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate equipment at the Des Moines Terminal IA and ensure accurate loading and unloading of rail cars, boats and trucks.

You will coordinate with Terminal Managers, customers and suppliers, maintain facilities, and assist with general maintenance while upholding health, safety and environmental policies.

This role requires a High School diploma and 1–3 years of experience; basic computer skills and SAP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of work experience required.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment at the terminal to load/unload rail cars, boats, and trucks with accuracy and expedience.
• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers as needed.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard; perform routine maintenance on equipment.
