Job summary

Amrize located at the Des Moines Terminal in Iowa seeks a Terminal Operator to safely load and unload rail cars, boats and trucks, ensuring accurate orders and expeditious processing.

You will coordinate with Terminal Managers, customers and trucking firms, keep facilities organized, and support equipment operation. A High School diploma and 1–3 years of experience are expected, with basic computer skills and SAP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote core values and coach others to develop skills.
• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, and partners.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard.
• Load/unload materials by rail, waterway, or road.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment; assist with maintenance.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental policies; promote safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
