Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at Bettendorf Terminal IA to support bulk loading, hopper barge unloading and terminal maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will communicate with terminal managers, customers and trucking firms to ensure accurate, on-time shipments. The role requires a High School diploma/GED and 1–3 years of experience; familiarity with SAP and MS Office is preferred, and welding experience is a plus. Amrize offers a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with terminal managers, customers, sales teams, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard.
• Load/unload bulk and bagged material by waterway and road methods where location permits.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
