Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate the location's equipment for loading and unloading rail cars, boats and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing. The role emphasizes safety, routine maintenance and coordination with managers, customers and suppliers.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED and 1–3 years of experience; basic computer skills and SAP are expected, with welding and mechanical aptitude a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs and SAP.
• Mechanical aptitude and welding experience are desirable.
• Familiarity with cement, construction industry and integrated systems is a plus.
• Must follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, and trucking firms.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard areas.
• Load/unload bulk and bagged material via waterway, road or rail methods as location dictates.
• Operate and perform general maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
