Job summary

Action Resources seeks a Terminal Manager to lead all aspects of terminal operations, from planning and dispatch to delivery and customer service. You will drive revenue per truck, optimize loads, and ensure safety and compliance across the network.

Key responsibilities include overseeing driver recruitment, development, and retention, managing the P&L, and coordinating fleet maintenance while collaborating with sales and safety teams to grow existing customers and pursue new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in transportation field.
• 5+ years of Transportation Operations experience required.
• 2+ years of Fleet Management leadership of drivers.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and procedures.
• Experience with satellite communications processes (Qualcomm) desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage P&L, identify and develop tactical actions to correct and implement.
• Oversee driver recruitment, retention, and development.
• Coordinate maintenance for a fleet of tractors, trailers and specialized equipment.
• Analyze data, create, prepare and distribute reports and information.
• Collaborate with Recruiting and Safety to hire quality driver associates.
• Develop and mentor staff through performance evaluation and coaching.
