Job summary

Action Resources is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead our Texas terminal with a strong focus on P&L, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will drive revenue per truck, optimize asset utilization, and manage the workforce across drivers, fleet, and terminal staff.

The role requires 5+ years in transportation operations, a bachelor's in transportation, and experience with TMW or McLeod. You will collaborate with sales and safety teams to grow the business and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in transportation field.
• 5+ years of Transportation Operations experience.
• 2+ years of Fleet Management leadership of drivers.
• Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMW, McLeod).
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with satellite communications processes (Qualcomm) desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage P&L, identify and develop tactical actions to correct and implement.
• Oversee driver recruitment, retention, and development.
• Lead terminal performance; forecasts, monitors and executes daily performance plan.
• Coordinate maintenance for tractors, trailers and specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with sales to manage existing and develop new business opportunities.
• Ensure EHSS policies and safety initiatives are followed.
• Onboard drivers and associates to terminal processes.
• Represent the terminal and liaison for drivers, owner operators and terminal staff.
