Job summary

Del Mar College invites applications for a TERM INSTRUCTOR - ENVIRONMENTAL/PETROCHEMICAL POOL to teach courses as needed across multiple times and locations. This continuous recruitment maintains a rolling pool of qualified applicants for temporary assignments.

Open to all applicants; initial application valid for one year with option to reapply. Minimum qualifications include an AS in Environmental/Petrochemical Lab Technology or a BS in Chemistry and at least three years of related work

• Must have worked with the various analytical instruments used in industry analytical laboratories and have good understanding of how the instruments work and how to trouble-shoot them.
• Good understanding of the environmental regulations as they apply to the petrochemical industry.
